Yet another incident involving a television set. 7/20/12


Well I'm not sure what was going on.  I was unable to fall asleep tonight even after taking sleeping pills and drinking sleepy time tea.  And the time honored warm milk.

Well I was laying in bed watching Star Trek movies.  Star Trek: First Contact was just starting.  When all of a sudden the tv and the cable box shut off.  I had a heck of a time getting them to turn back on.  No idea what in the world was going on.  This happened at 5am when the movie was starting.

    Yeah, I have no idea either. I thought I should write it up and see what everyone has to say.

    Ok. After talking with several people about this, I have come to the conclusion that this was caused by a power surge. Yes, I do have both tv and cable box plugged into a surge protector.
