Slap in the face? 11/13/2012

Well things are starting to get interesting.  My sister, Linda, suggested I get some sage and smudge the house.

So, this is what happened.  I was taking a shower.  My washcloth was laying across the top of the shower doors. I was washing my hair.  I know I did not hit the shower door, as both doors would have rattled.  There was no rattling of the shower doors.  The washcloth came off the top of the shower door and hit me on the side of my face.

I spent quite awhile trying to recreate the washcloth falling off the shower door.  I used the same wet cloth and a clean dry cloth.  I was unable to get the cloths to fall.  I opened and closed the doors.  I rattled the doors.  I banged the doors.  The cloths stayed right there on top of the door.

Interesting find when I woke up on Halloween 2012

Ok.  I have to admit this one did freak me out.

When I woke up I spotted something very strange as soon as I opened my eyes and they focused on the pillow next to me.

The charger cord for my iPhone was unplugged from the plug and was coiled up like a person would coil up an extension cord.  I know I did not coil  that cord.  It was way to neat for me to have done it.  My coils are always a mess.

So I picked it up and placed it on Maggie who was sound asleep to show how neat the coil was.  I then unplugged the plugin thing and placed it on Maggie.  I'm undecided on who would have done this.  Jeff could coil a extension cord with the best of them, but not without some nagging.  Since I was using this cord to charge my iPhone, I did not want this cord coiled up.  In case you wanted to know, I forgot to plug the phone in to charge the night before.

Squeaky kitchen floor 10/30/2012

There is this one floor board in the kitchen that squeaks when I or Zoey step on it.  But the cats and Laddie don't weigh near enough to cause it to squeak.  I'm so used to it squeaking that I tune it out.

However, this night the squeak did catch my attention. It wasn't Zoey or me that stepped on the board to cause it to squeak.  I'm not sure what caused it to squeak.

It was late evening and Zoey let me know that she needed to go outside.  So we went through the kitchen and I let her and Laddie out into the back yard.  I was standing at the back door, looking out the window watching the dogs.  All of a sudden, I heard the floor squeak.  I turned around to see what caused the floor to squeak.

Well, Maggie was walking towards me.  I was pretty sure that Maggie hadn't caused the floorboard to squeak.  So I grabbed a can of kitty food and let her take a couple bites.  I then walked to the other end of the kitchen.  I called Maggie and she came and the floor did not squeak.  I let her take a couple bites of the food.  Then repeated the experiment several times.  Not once did the floor board squeak when Maggie stepped on it.

I'm not sure what or who caused the floor board to squeak.  I've been listening and have not heard it squeak unless Zoey or I step on it.
